How To Do Old Lady Makeup Easy

Okay... I'll exist more specific.  Let's put on stage makeup for quondam historic period.  I promise, it'southward a lot of fun.

I totally freaked out my kids and husband.  The kids were watching me and saying how creepy I looked and asking me why I was doing this.  My eldest daughter wants me to do this for Halloween.  My youngest son said no to the creepy sometime lady face up.  My husband jumped when I turned effectually.  So satisfying... I think.

Let's do this.

Materials needed:  Highlight, Shadow, dark-brown eye liner, ii pocket-size/medium flat brushes, and 2 wide flat brushes.

This kit is the i I used in theatre for higher. It'southward got everything.

Present, if you search for Ben Nye products all you'll see is Banana powder. Stinking Kardashians.

You can become a smaller personal kit if yous'd like, instead of the full kit.

Here I am.  Yes, that'due southbefore the quondam lady makeup, you muddy rat.  This is me at the end of a long day, okay. So in that location!  Yes, I did stick out my natural language.  I pulled back my bangs and hair so I could go to work. You should too.

Start with a fresh, clean face.

Don't freak out!  At first it looks similar brown lines on your face... it's okay.

ONLY do these wrinkles where y'all really have them.  I am blest with few forehead wrinkles.  I have ii barely there ones.  I win!

As you lot can see, I have also done wrinkles between my brows.  These are the ones that'll turn ugly when I'm older.  Yikes!

Care for them the same way, exceptDON'Tblend the dark-brown line.  Put a highlight line on the underside. If information technology's pretty vertical, put it on the inside role of the line (the part closest to the other eye).

Optics

The best role!

1. First, highlight lid.
2. Take your shadow and start from the corner of your eye and get that eye socket shape.  Remember you're onetime, your eye is going to sink in a flake.
3. Then do the pucker.  I naturally accept a droopy lid - information technology will hang down when I'm an old lady, I'chiliad sure.  This is why I have taken my shadow and fatigued it down with the natural crease of my centre chapeau.
4. Add shadow at brow bone at a downwardly angle to get the droop effect.
5. Afterward I went back and put more shadow on my hat for it to exist more sunken in.

At present the eye bag.  Yay!

1. Add shadow on your lower lid.
2. Highlight underneath information technology. The actual bag area.
3. Take your highlighter and outline the outside edge of the eye bag drawn a line.
4. Take more highlighter and alloy that line out.  Information technology'll look like a U.
5. Take your shadow, draw the line only above the highlight line.  Blend up and in.  Make certain your bag is heavier at the corner and fades every bit it nears your heart.  It shouldn't reach your outer eye.

• Draw in the shadow, then add a highlight underneath!  Easy!

Nose

With onetime age your nose is bigger.  It's unfortunate, only truthful.  I'yard making my nose wider and my nostrils bigger.

1. To make wider yous highlight downwardly the nose, and the whole front portion of the nose.
2. To make nostrils bigger, you highlight those besides, all the way to the pucker where y'all nose and cheeks meet.
3. Add shadow to the sides of your nose, draw a line right up next to the highlight and alloy out to the cheeks into your foundation.
4. For the nostrils, follow the natural bend, but only outside the actual crease to overstate them.

 Cheeks

1. Start at your nostril, follow the large pucker down (if it's difficult to observe, grinning, then follow the crease) to your mouth.
2. In the first moving picture I have a brown line crossed out.  I didn't similar the way it looked and so I just wiped information technology off and stock-still it.  No sweat.  You can run across information technology stock-still in the 2nd flick.
3. Describe the line and have information technology keep going past the oral cavity.  Your cheeks are going to hang real low as you get geriatric.
4. Alloy that line out, it's a bit thicker than the residual of your contraction lines.
5. Add a highlight inside.
6. I added some to my whole cheek, composite carefully, no difficult edge.

For an apple cheek - they'll be prissy and full.  Probably from all that block I'll be baking every bit a sweet ole granny.

1.  Offset at the nostril and sweep out and up.
2. Blend upwards.
3. Add highlight to the eye of the cheekbone and the surrounding cheek expanse.  You lot just want it more than concentrated at that place.
4.  Add a light glaze underneath the shadow every bit well.
5. Add some chroma to the apples of your cheek if you'd similar.

Lips

In old age your lips become thinner.  Boo.  To practise this is simple.

1. Put foundation or highlighter over your lips.
2. On your bottom lip add a natural lip color, but just within your natural lip line.
3. On the tiptop lip add a darker color besides inside the lip line.
4. Add together contouring with some shading and highlighting to the surrounding oral fissure area.
5. Add together wrinkles to your lips.  Done and done.

Jaw

• Add highlight in a scallop move alongside your jawline (above the ridge). It'south like a iii, lying on its back, simply 3 scallops, instead of 2.

• Add together triangles of highlight underneath your scallop.  (See the picture beneath)

• Take your shadow and start at the top edge of the bottom highlight.  Is that disruptive enough?  Make it a difficult edge.
• Then blend the shadow up to meet the superlative scallop.  Y'all don't want a hard edge where those two run into.

Before, During, and After

Now, become back and bear upon up anything yous'd like.  Your face up may not be perfectly symmetrical, don't worry near it.  Retrieve, this is stage makeup.  Information technology's best seen at a far altitude, not right upwardly shut.  It'll yet look pretty dang sweet though.
